UTF and GCE Subsea partners up!

Norway has one of the most competent subsea technology communities in the world. UTF and GCE Subsea have signed a long-term collaboration agreement to further develop the Underwater Technology Conference (UTC) in Bergen.

GCE Subsea is an industry driven initiative for strengthening and internationalisation of businesses, research and education for the Norwegian subsea industry. The Underwater Technology Foundation (UTF) is an independent entity aspiring to provide more insight into the subsea industry in our region.
World Leading Subsea Conference

The Underwater Technology Conference has a well-known history of presenting highly competent speakers on current and important topics for the subsea industry. UTC 2017 will be the 23rd Underwater Technology Conference, and 700 professionals and 40 exhibitors are expected to attend the conference in Bergen. – This is a very important agreement for the Norwegian subsea industry and with this agreement we will strengthen the development of UTC as the world’s top professional subsea conference, says Owe Hagesæther, CEO at GCE Subsea.

The agreement is important to strengthen collaboration, effort and focus on further development of subsea technology. Furthermore, it helps unite and further evolve the world leading subsea industry that we have in Norway, says Tor Willgohs Knudsen, Chairman of UTF and Senior Advisor Subsea Technology in Statoil.
