This year’s UTC in Bergen, Norway’s leading subsea industry event, will start on Tuesday, June 12, at UFS Verftet, where, following a welcome from Subsea 7’s Thomas Sunde, we will hear about the latest subsea market projects and insights from consultancies including Pareto, Rystad Energy and Morgan Stanley, as well as industry views from senior executives at DNV GL, Equinor and Subsea 7, and a look at technology growth and innovation.

Following an evening ice-breaker event, also at UFS Vertet, the two-day exhibition and conference, with keynote sessions, panel sessions and a full technical session program, starts on Wednesday, June 13, at Bergen’s Grieghallen.

Jon Arve Sværen, who is Program Committee Chairman of this June’s Underwater Technology Conference in Bergen and vice president of business strategy processing at OneSubsea. He says: “UTC is a very high quality technical conference, in terms of technical and business-related topics, as well as good networking and that all has a high value to anyone in the industry that wants to continue to be a player in the subsea industry.”

UTC conference moderator Kristin Nergaard Berg, Group Leader Subsea Technology, DNV GL, says:
“I look forward to hearing the keynote speakers and their vision for subsea and the potential going forward. UTC’s parallel sessions are also always very good as you get to hear from the people who work with solving specific problems and bringing new ideas to life. There are many very good topics on the program in the parallel sessions.”
