DNV GL is pleased to invite you to witness a large-scale test of one of the world’s largest fibre ropes for mooring of deep water installations. The break load test will be conducted in DNV GL’s 2900 tons test machine.
It will illustrate the strength of modern fibre ropes and the amount of force involved to pull them to failure. A must see for anyone interested in large-scale testing and fibre rope technology.

Transport from DNV GL to UTC at USF will be arranged.
