Ben Charbit is vice president of Marketing & Technology for OneSubsea, a Schlumberger company, a position he assumed in January 2015 and is responsible for strategic marketing and new technology development.
He joined Schlumberger in 1994 as a Wireline field engineer and throughout his international career has held various operations and staff assignments including, global recruiting and training manager; general manager Ecuador; global HR director Wireline; general manager Latin America South; and more recently, portfolio manager Mergers & Acquisitions where he managed acquisitions, divestitures and the creation of joint ventures for the company.
Ben holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering and a master of science degree in materials science from Western Michigan University. He also holds an executive MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
